Track Rules

● Control Tyre and Chassis Type:

• Control Tyre Rule: We have a mandatory control tyre rule for the rear of your car. They must also be clean and never run on any other surface than P-Tile. “Scratched-in” tyres will damage our track surface. We usually carry a limited stock of the correct tyres if you require a set. The mandatory rear tyres must be DS Racing Competition III LF-3. On the Front, we recommend the same or similar, however, the fronts are NOT mandatory. Use of any other Rear tyres on our surface will result in being asked to leave at a minimum. The control tyre rule is to ensure even speed and predictability between drivers on track and to preserve our track surface.
• Chassis Type: Only 2-wheel drive (2WD) 1/10 LiPO R/C Drift Cars are permitted on the track. No 4WD/AWD or Counter-Steer chassis are allowed.
• Scrutineering: We will ask to check your car before proceeding to the track to ensure it complies.
• ESC Tune: Excessively high motor RPM Turbo/Boost (Burn tunes) are strictly prohibited. Please tune your ESC respectfully as excessive heat burns our track surface.

● Track Access and Fees:

• Track Admission: Every driver must sign-in before using the track. This policy helps us manage the facility efficiently and ensures fair use for everyone. Do not proceed to the track until you have paid in full and signed-in.
• Fee Structure: The daily pass fee is $30, allowing re-entry on the same day. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
• Freebies: We do not offer Free drifting to our friends or family. Please do not put us in a position to have to say no to you. Your Friends and Family are welcome to watch for Free, however they can not drive under any circumstances without paying.

Pit Area Regulations:

• Pit areas: We have limited pit benches upstairs on our mezzanine, and downstairs in the lounge if you are unable to traverse the stairs. Pit tables are strictly a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware, you may not have a pit table available to you immediately. If these are full, please ask us where you can stow your bag in the meantime.
• Your property: Take care of your belongings while on our premises. Please note that we cannot be responsible for any theft or damage to your personal property.
• Driving area: No driving from up on the mezzanine or stairs. Drivers must be on the ground floor in the designated areas. Please keep walkways and stairways clear at all times. There are limited stools for sitting whilst driving. We urge drivers to get comfortable standing whilst driving.
• Smoking: Strictly no Smoking inside the premises.
• Battery Charging: We strongly urge patrons to charge their batteries at the correct amperage and in a LiPO safe bag. If unsure, please ask for help.

● Track Etiquette and Safety Rules:

• Running on Track: Never run in the venue or on the track surface! The surfaces are slick and this can result in damage to property or personal injury. Always WALK cautiously.
• Direction of Travel: Driving in reverse or against the flow of traffic is strictly forbidden.
• Blocking Vision: Step back from the edge of the track when driving to avoid obstructing someone else’s view. When walking, always walk behind drivers, never in front of their line of sight.
• Vehicle Stoppage Alert: If your vehicle stops whilst on track, you must also call out “LIPO” to alert other drivers to stop when safe. Once safe to proceed, WALK carefully to retrieve your car.
• Respect and Helpfulness: Always be respectful to fellow drifters, on and off the track. Make everyone feel welcome, be helpful, especially to new participants, and foster a positive environment for everyone.
• Speed and Overtaking: If you’re slower, move to the left to allow faster cars or trains to pass safely. This minimizes risks of collisions and damage.
• Track Stopping: If you need to stop, move your vehicle to an unused part of the track to avoid obstructing others.
• Driving off Track: Please only drive your car on the track surface, not in the pit or walking areas.
• Hire Cars: Experienced drivers, please be mindful of new drivers with hire cars. It can be intimidating for them with faster cars on track. Please show care when passing. Hire car users will have a briefing before being let out on track.
• Rule Adherence: Failure to adhere to these rules may result in you being asked to leave the facility. Please respect the rules to ensure a fun and safe environment for everyone.
